Racing and competing is in my blood. I have been doing it from a very early age and it is a major part of my life. It stands out above everything else. My family have a holiday home on the International Northwest 200 Road Race Circuit which is probably were I first saw motorbike racing. It’s always a great week in May to go and watch the races there.

Last weekend I was off to Brands Hatch, London to compete in the ‘Kawasaki National Junior Cup‘ series. I was riding a borrowed Kawasaki Ninja 300. Everything was completely new to me. I ended up with two 2nd places, I was so happy as already this year I had won both the Irish and Ulster 125/250 production championships.

In school my friends and teachers all know I race motorbikes. They are all very supportive and have a lot of faith in me and my career.

Aaron Wright #797

My name is Aaron Wright and I live in a place called Newtownabbey, which is right beside Belfast in Northern Ireland. I am 14 years old and I am in year 10 at Monkstown Community School.

I am really excited to be flying out to Malaga on Tuesday from Belfast to be riding at the Gaudix circuit. I have never ridden the circuit before but it looks brilliant. This year I have been involved in a Sports Development Programme at the University of Ulster which has really helped me with my fitness.
